EUGENE'S MESSAGE

MEET EUGENE ESCOBAR JR.

A Proven Leader, A Visionary for Princeton’s Future

I’m Eugene Escobar Jr., a longtime resident of Princeton, Texas, where my wife and I are proudly raising our family. With over a decade of living and investing in this community, I’ve seen firsthand both the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead for our city. My wife, a graduate of Princeton High School, and I are deeply rooted in this community, and our children are growing up in the same town we’ve come to love and care for so deeply.

Princeton is growing, and with growth comes the need for fresh ideas and bold leadership. I’ve seen how the “old ways” have led to the problems we’re facing today—problems that could have been avoided with better foresight and planning. I’m not interested in going through a system designed to mold politicians into puppets. I’m running for mayor because I believe in putting people first, not the bureaucracy.

My journey hasn’t followed the traditional political path, and I believe that’s my strength. I’ve spent years challenging the status quo and standing up for what’s right in our city and school district. I’ve built successful businesses, revitalized failing ones, and made sure that the economic benefits of those businesses stay right here in Princeton. I understand the importance of a thriving local economy, not just for today but for future generations.

With years of experience as a business owner, I’ve honed the skills needed to lead, manage, and inspire. I’ve worked closely with cities across the country to navigate complex regulations and build successful projects. I’m not just about managing what is; I’m about preparing for what’s next.

I believe in a Princeton that embraces change while staying true to the values that make our community special. My goal is to create a city where every resident has a voice, where local businesses thrive, and where we prepare for the future without losing sight of our roots. If you’re ready for real change, I’m here to lead the way.

My Commitment to Conservative Leadership

Why I Stand as a Conservative

As a proud conservative, my values are deeply rooted in principles that promote individual responsibility, fiscal discipline, and the preservation of the traditions and freedoms that make our community and country great. My conservative philosophy guides my approach to leadership and decision-making, focusing on solutions that strengthen families, empower businesses, and ensure government accountability.

My Conservative Values

  • Limited Government: I believe government should serve the people, not control their lives. It is essential to limit government intervention while empowering individuals and families to thrive through their hard work and innovation.

  • Fiscal Responsibility: Taxpayer dollars should be spent wisely and transparently. I support policies that promote balanced budgets, reduce wasteful spending, and prioritize investments in the areas that matter most to our community.

  • Traditional Values: I am committed to upholding the moral and cultural foundations that have sustained our nation for generations. Faith, family, and personal accountability remain at the heart of everything I do.

  • Strong Communities: I believe in fostering safe, clean, and prosperous neighborhoods where neighbors work together to ensure a high quality of life for everyone.

  • Economic Freedom: Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I will continue to advocate for policies that create opportunities, cut unnecessary regulations, and allow businesses to succeed.

Why It Matters for Princeton

Our city is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes challenges. As a conservative, I am committed to ensuring we manage this growth responsibly while preserving our community’s unique character and values. My approach will focus on:

  • Protecting taxpayers by keeping taxes low and spending in check.

  • Improving infrastructure without unnecessary government overreach.

  • Defending individual rights and ensuring all residents have a voice in their local government.

Conservatism is not just a political stance—it’s a commitment to a way of life that respects our past, secures our present, and builds a brighter future for the next generation. I am running for mayor to ensure that these principles guide Princeton’s future.
